A two-branch letting agent is offering landlords 0% management fees for six months in preparation for the proposed ban on agent fees.
Parklane Properties, which is located in Leeds, has also stopped charging tenants admin fees in response to the government proposal, which is currently at the consultation stage.
The offer is available for a 'limited time' and only new landlords signing up with the firm are eligible.
According to Parklane's sales manager, Satty Bhamra, the 0% fee is available for the first six months of a 12-month tenancy.
“We’re doing something that we’re not aware of anyone else doing," says Bhamra.
"This is a bold move, one which is ahead of the curve, and in advance of the new legislation surrounding admin fees kicking in."
Parklane Properties has been operating in Leeds since 1977.
