A lettings agency that launched just two years ago has snapped up an independent firm in the same city in a deal reported to be worth £250,000.
Local media in Glasgow say Even Property in the city will double the number of managed properties on its books to 500 after buying the Capital Letters agency.
Five members of Capital Letters staff will move across to increase the Even Property workforce to 12.
This is not the first acquisition by Even Property - it snapped up a leasing division of Newton Property Management a few months ago, prompting the opening of a new office in Aberdeen.
Capital Letters was launched in 1996 and its sale has been prompted by the owner’s retirement.
