Lettings Advisory Board of agents to be established by Zoopla

Zoopla has revealed the formation of a Lettings Advisory Board, to be chaired by the national lettings managing director of Leaders Romans Group, Michael Cook.

The board will be comprised of invited agents from Zoopla’s customers, and according to the portal “will play an important role working alongside the company as it drives towards its strategy to create a complementary ecosystem of products and services that drive ever-increasing revenue and performance for its agent and housebuilder partners.”

Letting agents will also be encouraged to join Zoopla’s new Product Research Panel to comment on tools being built by the portal.

Charlie Bryant, Zoopla chief executive, says: “I’d like to take this opportunity to thank Michael for agreeing to chair the Lettings Board. Michael has done a great job overseeing LRG’s continued growth in lettings through a tumultuous time for the property industry and we are grateful for his valued insight and expertise as we embark on this next chapter.”

And Peter Kavanagh - LRG’s chief executive - adds: “We’re really pleased that Michael will be sharing his insight and experience in his role as chairman of Zoopla’s new Lettings Advisory Board.”

The LRG agency has also become a so-called Innovation Partner of Zoopla, meaning its 175 branches will benefit from early access to a pipeline of new products and software.

Surely a good idea to tap into agents knowledge, experience and demands to deliver products we want that work the way we need them to. It will be interesting to see who else forms this board.
