Agency celebrates quartet of qualified staff and ARLA members

Newcastle-based lettings agency Seekers has successfully qualified a further four members of staff and funded their membership of ARLA Propertymark.

The four each undertook a training programme with The Able Agent, offering a Level 3 Certificate in Property Advice and Practice. This qualification allows them to apply for ARLA Propertymark Membership.

The agency says that having members of ARLA means it can better assist customers in relation to governance, risk management and compliance, by ensuring staff are up to date with best practice and legislation.

Lettings manager Jessica Bates - a recent CePAP graduate and ARLA member - says: “I really enjoyed the learning aspect of the course. Although I have been in the property industry for over four years, it was still really valuable to achieve this qualification and there are lots of things learnt that I will use in my day-to-day role.”

Seekers, formerly Walton Robinson, says the CePAP training provides a practical, user-friendly method of learning that allows participants to develop their skills and improve confidence across all areas of the business, from sales and investment to lettings and compliance.

General manager Amy Moore, also an ARLA member - states: “At Seekers we are keen to ensure that our staff members are as up to date as possible with legislation.

“The Able Agent programme allows us to achieve that in a user friendly way, that makes it engaging for our employees.’’
