Bidwells has launched a new full-service residential property agency in Oxford, bringing together sales, lettings and new homes capability for the first time under a single integrated offer in the city.

The team comprises three specialists. Maxine Reynolds leads the sales programme, handling resale transactions across the city. Nick Jones joins as a partner following Bidwells’ acquisition of his residential agency business, Nicholas Jones Residential and leads the lettings offer. Iain Powis, who joined Bidwells in January 2025, leads new homes, working with developers on the sale of new-build schemes.

Together, the three service lines give clients continuity of advice from land acquisition through to sales and lettings – a capability that reflects Bidwells’ existing strengths in agency, land, planning and development advisory both in Oxford and across the wider Supercluster region.

Oxford’s residential market has an acute lack of supply and continues to be one of the UK’s most in-demand markets, with long term growth in real prices expected across the built environment. Average house prices are currently £478,000, up 6 per cent over five years, according to Bidwells’ research.

The launch of Bidwells’ Oxford residential agency marks a significant step in the firm’s Nexusgrowth strategy, which aims to double the size of the business through regional expansion, service diversification and investment in high-growth sectors.
